Tips For A Successful Meal Al Fresco
As the weather begins to warm up and the nights slowly start to get longer, it's time to start thinking about eating al fresco. After all what can be nicer than having a relaxing meal sitting outside enjoying the weather. So here are The Cat's tips and accompanying educational video for enjoying a successful meal al fresco.
The first thing to do is to ensure that you know all of the guests who have been invited to your dinner party, they may have special dietary requirements. Not only might your guests be allergic to some foods they may, as Marcus the Cat, our host for today will demonstrate (in the educational video) they may be very hungry and want to eat your food after they have eaten theirs, this can lead to problems of etiquette.
It is always a good idea no matter how relaxed you want your dinner party to be to use a table and lay it out formally with cutlery. Using a table and cutlery will almost always ensure that guests use their manners and knives and forks and not handle either their food or yours. Again our host Marcus demonstrates just how difficult it is to defend one's food if it is not formally presented offering the greedy guests an opportunity to steal.
Cat Gives Thumbs Up
My friend Jimmy is being bullied by his owner to give the thumbs up... As you can see Cats will do anything for a quiet life!
Cat Sucker-punching a Baby
Cuddles the family Cat had for a long time believed that her human sister was being better fed than she was, there was something about the baby thought Cuddles she always smells of Prawns. So quite rightly Cuddles decided to check to see if her suspicion was correct.
The best way to find out if her human sister was getting better was simply to hop onto the special table that she was fed at, which was attached to her special chair, yes Cuddles thought as she she made the leapt she must be fed special food.
Sadly there wasn't any evidence of special treatment on the table, but all the same Cuddles had a sniff around.
Her humans sister obviously thought that this was some sort of game and started play boxing. Well even though it was a game Cuddles was in no mood just to sit and take play punishment and so Cuddles uses her skill to block, jab and finally sucker punch her sister.
As she was shooed off she not only thought to herself she not only smelt Prawns but also just how lucky her human sister was that they were just playing!
Ultimate Dog Tease
Sometimes you have to feel sorry for Dogs, they mean well and not all of them are stupid or smelly, just most of them. Unfortunately even though I am a wonderful, compassionate, almost saintly Cat, I couldn't feel sorry for this Dog, who lost not one but several dinners, and that is because The Cat got the Cat treats, Chicken and Cheese! Whoopie!
Here is my exquisite movie, which I would say has Oscar winning potential written all over it – or would have if my web boffins had let me have 'my' own way – shows my screen double Lupin (odd name, I know but he is German) gate-crashing a German TV weather forecast. Some may call this 'adding value' to German TV of course!
Two-day rescue operation to save kitten in Sweden
A team of five rescue workers and hundreds of concerned humans worked continuously for two days to rescue a frightened 7 week old Kitten who had become trapped in a concrete tube under the floor of a supermarket in Gothenburg.
Staff said that they could hear the Kitten's cries for help, but where unable to reach the poor animal.
It took a team of five technicians and animal keepers with advanced camera equipment two days to lure the wet, terrified and hungry Kitten out of its hiding spot.
After being rescued the Kitten wasn't able to comment on how or why it chose to hole up in a pipe that was only 15 centimeters in diameter, but then you have to remember that:
- a) Cats like to explore.
- b) Cats don't have to confide in humans.
- 3) Not all Cats are geniuses.
Reverse Lion Taming
Today's modern Cat is no longer just willing to spend her days at home looking after the kittens and keeping house. They crave adventure and have developed a taste for the great outdoors, adopted hobbies and generally improved themselves. One of the most extreme sports that today's modern Cat can enjoy is reverse Lion taming, where instead of a dumb and dangerous Lion being tamed by dumber and more dangerous human, young Cats are taking on the training of a wide range of fierce animals and taming them.
In this video example you will see Mugsy the Cat take on not one but two Alligators with great success. It must be stressed that Mugsy the Cat has been practicing reverse Lion taming for a number of months and is very experienced and holds the title of the longest surviving reverse animal trainer because results from this past time are mixed leaving a lot of fierce and now very angry animals untrained.

Friendly Black Cat
A Texan police officer 'deals' with a friendly black Cat who not only wants to be his best pal but probably thinks that giving his owner a ticket for a traffic violation is a bit cruel and thinks he can distract him.
